City gets $12 million financial aid from Pa.

Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl is finding that it helps to have a friend in Pennsylvania -- Gov. Ed Rendell in particular. Mr. Rendell, who is counting on strong support from Pittsburgh Democrats in his bid for re-election, told Mr. Ravenstahl yesterday the city will be getting a total of $12 million this year to pay for police, security, communications, building demolition and other programs.
