While everyone is in a tizzy about the prospect of Hillary Clinton having back-to-back loses in Iowa and New Hampshire, don’t forget that husband Bill did not win his first primary until 1992’s version of Super Tuesday in Georgia.
Now think about that.
And while you are, ponder this. If Hillary does lose back-to-back primaries, look for a shakeup in the Clinton campaign, with top brass either dumped or layered, then probably one of the shrewdish political minds of this lifetime, Bill Clinton, taking over the ship.
Look for a reemergence of long-time Clinton adviser Harold Ickes, who has been notably absent in her campaign.
