I was watching a hockey game the other night. If you do something wrong in hockey they send you to the penalty box. It's a sort of professional sports version of "time out." Then the camera shows the person who is supposed to sit in shame for a bit.
We need a Christian penalty box! Every week I come across some goofy Christian who does or says something stupid. Blow that whistle! Go to the penalty box and think about your act of stupidity!
So I'm starting the Christian penalty box. Email me the person you think needs to sit in the box.
In fact, let's start with two right now.
First in the box is the Archbishop of Canterbury. He goes to the box for saying Islamic law should be recognized in Britain. Try to be Archbishop of Iran if you like Islamic law so much.
Sitting next to him is Internet evangelist Bill Keller. (He preaches the gospel to IBM & Mac users) He was thrilled about presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s withdrawal from the race. Keller said, " A vote for Romney is a vote for Satan" Keller was especially critical towards those he referred to as "Judas'," those Christian leaders who he claims "sold out the faith to support the member of a satanic cult that is leading the souls of men to hell." That earns him a trip to the box.
