The membership losses within the Presbyterian Church (USA) have accelerated to 13 members per hour. At this rate, no members will be left in 50 years.

One source of frustration for many of us within the denomination is the leftist political advocacy done by our Washington Office. Between fighting against the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, the federal Defense of Marriage Act, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act and other pro-family measures, the Washington Office has proven to be one of the more controversial entities within the PC (USA). Recently, the director of the Washington Office has announced that she is resigning her position to join the World Council of Churches. Perhaps this thorn in the side will get better.
