The World Factbook provides a list of countries by unemployment rate. It should be noted that statistics are not directly comparable.

The bottom three entries on the list of 197 countries are: Zimbabwe, with an unemployment rate of 80 percent (2005 est.); Liberia, with an 85 percent unemployment rate (2003 est.); and the Republic of Nauru, the world’s smallest island nation, which is located in the Micronesian South Pacific and has an unemployment rate of 90 percent (2004 est.).
