While the percentage of children raised in a one-parent home remains high, blacks polled believe in marriage more than whites. On the two questions – when a man and woman plan to spend the rest of their lives together and when they have a child, how important is it “that they legally marry,” blacks and Hispanics are more likely to say “very important.” A lot of interesting numbers in this survey.
