Fred Clark was guy after my own heart. Clark's self-penned obituary appeared in Sunday's Times-Dispatch -- nearly a full column of his legendary humor. He wrote those last words in December, when he was perfectly healthy.
Clark, 61, died on Father's Day, June 18, after a car crash. In life, family and friends relished his wit. In death, thousands more witnessed it on Page B8 of The Times-Dispatch.
