Three cheers for Hazleton, Pa. They have created one of the strictest laws in the U.S.
By a vote of 4 to 1, Hazleton's City Council on Thursday approved the Illegal Immigration Relief Act, which imposes severe penalties on landlords who rent space to illegal immigrants, suspends the licenses of businesses that employ them, and declares English the city's official language.

I'm not sure I buy that. How do we know the "majority" of people have these "secret" feelings?
I have no doubt those pepole exsist but to apply that to the majority is a bit dangerous.
vast majority of people who complain about illegal immigrants are xenophobes who secretly harbor anti-immigrant and anti-minority sentiments.
You know, I'd love to see the research on people's private thoughts that support this outrageous claim.
