From the story: The threat against U.S. interests came as the FBI revealed it is searching for Hezbollah terrorist agents operating on American soil. (NY Post) From Malkin: You think Hezbollah is only Israel's headache? Wake up. (Townhall) On the war, Krauthammer notes this “crisis represents a rare, perhaps irreproducible, opportunity.” (Washington Post)

I believe the whole reason for their threatening of the US, plus Iran's saber-rattling, is to drive up oil prices. That way, not only do they get amazingly wealthy, but it severely hurts our economy.
One problem with that theory... oil prices have dropped. Don't ask me why, but they have.
Short term they have, and not by much. They've dropped because US gasoline inventories are currently high.
