SENATE UNDECIDED, YET PRECARIOUS

Tied 49-49, Republicans trailing in two races still undecided as of this morning. (USA Today) The Allen/Webb tally. (SBE) Montana tally. (CNN) Just after 10 p.m. Eastern, FOX news admitted exit polling told them Allen was going to get hammered. Yet at the time he was leading, with nearly 92 percent of the precincts in. At 10:45, Michael Barone predicted Allen's lead of nearly 30,000 votes with nearly 95 percent of the precincts reporting would drop to zero by the end of the evening. He was right.
