DEMOCRATIC LEADER TO IRAQIS: COMMITMENT IS OVER
Some top Democrats want a pullout to begin within a year.
I had a friend named Tria who was from Laos. He used to tell me horror stories of how, after the US left Vietnam, the Hmong people were brutalized by the communists for their collaberation with the US. Entire families were butchered, women raped, children... well, I just won't go into it. We broke our promise to them and left them to die.
It SICKENS me that we are about to do the same to the Iraqis.
