This was a bit tough for me to watch because I was on the air. I caught what I could and found myslef hoping Fred Thompson would bust out and be a bit nore dynamic.
Romney and Giuliani argued over who is most committed to low taxes. (AP)
Thompson’s people felt he did fine. (National Review)
From Fred Barnes: …he came across as likable, knowledgeable on issues but not wonky, and unexcitable. So Thompson passed the test of whether he could run with the big boys - Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, and John McCain - in the Republican race. (Weekly Standard)
From Hewitt: Fred Thompson is just flat. Period. And the perpetual frown isn't going to win anything. (Townhall)

Thompson was definately a disappointment. I'm still going with Duncan Hunter, although that is QUITE the long shot to say the least.
