Former ESPN Sports WEAE-AM (ESPN RADIO 1250)/PITTSBURGH weekend anchor John Duffy has pleaded guilty to child pornography charges and faces a possible 51-63 month prison sentence. John Duffy, 46, of Carnegie, is charged with one count of possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. Duffy pleaded guilty Thurdayin U.S. District Court and will be held until sentencing on January 22. Duffy was indicted in July after a raid found pornographic videos and pictures on his computer.
In the past, Duffy also worked in the press box during University of Pittsburgh basketball games and Steelers games. ESPN Radio studios are located right next to the Radio Disney studios AM 540.
