From the story: Young evangelical Protestants continue to cling closely to their bedrock conservative values. Yet they are abandoning trust in the White House and straying from the Republican Party, according to an analysis that tracked waning sentiments from 2001 to 2007 (Washington Times).
This may be the tip of the iceberg. I sense a major collapse coming when it's comes to the "hyper-Jesus" generation that has been feed a diet of Christian music, feel good church and a sense of religion that has been branded and marketed to the masses.
It's really sad. I see young people and often their parents who have bought into more of a lifestyle then a genuine faith and they don't even know it. What they believe has been sold to them and they are searching in an effort to create their own identity.
