DA VINCI CODE OFF TO BAD START

After the studio finally let someone see the film. Many critics aren’t thrilled. Story notes “The Da Vinci Code" drew lukewarm praise, shrugs of indifference, some jeering laughter and a few derisive jabs Tuesday.” (AP) From TIME: Well, to resolve two mysteries at once (why the film was kept from critics and what my reaction is), it’s not very good — long (2hr.32min.) and mostly inert. (TIME) Another story on the affect of the book: “The best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code has seriously damaged people's faith in the Christian Church, a survey has found.” (Telegraph)

Anyone who has let the DaVinci Code damage their faith didn't have strong faith, if any to begin with, the book is a fictional piece of garbage.
