A penny a can is no deterrant.

Plus they say it will raise almost 2 Billion ... haven't we seen this before? Where did all that anti-smoking money go? Right in to the pork and slush funds of government programs for OTHER stuff.

Taxing a social problem will not, cannot, solve it.
