EVANGELICALS BROADEN THEIR MORAL AGENDA

The new angle on this story is the emergence of conservative evangelicals that want to see evangelicalism focus on a broader range of issues such as genocide in Darfur and global warming. The article emphasizes how “some grass-roots religious conservatives” don’t want to see the focus broadened beyond abortion and same-sex marriage. (Washington Post)

"As you DO unto the least of these my family...." The most important words. The most ignored words.

Yes, I desperately want to see hope in the words of the evangelicals for Darfur. But whether they help or hurt with their words depends on their actions speaking LOUDER:

Your mentioning Darfur in your blogging is imperative. And as doubtless you have noticed, blogging volume regarding Darfur has plummeted. Thank you for your efforts.

We are hopelessly stalled in Saving Darfur. But it is only hopeless if we-the-citizens continue to be bystanders risking little or no cost to ourselves.

Please help promote what must fast become our role models; nothing less will stop the Genocide:
