Why on earth would anyone want to picket any funeral let alone an Amish funeral burying children lost in such a horrible tragedy.

they need our prayers, they have mine.

Let me give you their twisted reasoning....

Ed Rendell (Gov. of PA) supports the homosexual agenda. The Amish live in the same state governed by Rendell and the murder of their children was God's vengence for such.

This is what happens when we allow Scripture to be used as a weapon and corrupted for the purpose of hate.

These folks prove our point of why we need a magisterium and how sola scriptura doesnt work. They believe God shows them from the Bible it's ok to hate homosexuals, blacks, jews, other christians etc. Lord have mercy

"Sola Scriptura" works just fine when led by the Holy Spirit, and not by one's own hatred.

Here we go again .....
Matthew 13:19 "When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side"

"The wicked one" comes immediately to those who hear (or perhaps we could substitute "read" for purposes of instruction) the words of God but don't understand them. He (the devil) does not want us to understand and apply the Word of God. Christ warned numerous times that it is not those who hear the Word of God, but those who "do" the will of God who will be accepted.

True, Powerball. However, tb's comment is akin to saying "by the fruits of Foley's deeds, it is proof that we need to get rid of all Republicans."

Gotta love when people resort to the Fallacy of Hasty Generalization, or Secundum Quid if you prefer to "prove" an unprovable point.
