Bill planned to privatize liquor stores

Gov. Ed Rendell opened the privatization debate in Harrisburg this winter with a proposal to put the Pennsylvania Turnpike on the open market. Now Sen. Rob Wonderling, R-Montgomery, said he hopes to introduce a bill this year to privatize Pennsylvania's state-owned liquor store system. Good! Maybe now they will be open to allowing alcohol to be sold in more places.
