Looking for Miracles

The term "miracle" is tossed around often these days. Like.... "It would be a miracle if the Pirates won a game!"
I was talking to a few people about this. Do miracles happen today? I know unexpected things happen that can not be explained but is it God delivering miracles?

I want to know what you think.

Yes, I believe they do.

Here are two instances of miraculous healing.

The first one was my cousin. When she was born (1968), she wasn't expected to survive. I'm not sure on the details of her illness. Our whole family prayed for her. To this day, my mother swears she saw the Holy Spirit pass through her, and from that moment on, she was fine.

The second was a woman from my church in North Carolina. She used to be very active in the church, being the drama director. She started having intense pain, and was diagnosed with a very bad case of fibromyalgia. She lived with the pain for years from what I gather. When I came into the church, she was already deep into it with little hope for recovery. When the church was trying to expand and raise money for a building, we held a 24 hour prayer vigil. They took prayer requests from the entire congregation. This woman's pain was so bad, her prayer request was that God either cure her of the disease or take her home. About a week after the prayer vigil, she was coming out of the doctor's office wracked with pain. She got into the car, and when her husband came around and got in the driver's side, she had a look of astonishment. She told him that she thought she had just been healed. Sure enough, she hasn't had any fibromyalgia related pain since. That was in 1997.
