Catholic Utopia

The founder of Domino's pizza, Tom Monaghan, is building a "Catholic utopia" in south Florida. With its founder worried about "catastrophic cultural collapse," Ave Maria will be governed according to Catholic principles: No one will be able to purchase birth control or watch X-rated channels in the town. Critics worried about violations of separation of church and state are already crying foul.

I wonder if non-Catholics will be allowed to live there. Not that I'd want to, but just wondering.

I guess that last comment sounded kind of harsh.

For the record, I have nothing against what Monaghan is doing. If that is what he wants to do and he has the money, more power to him, and God bless him. It hope the community is the utopia he wants it to be.

His idea is a good one but hardly original...can anyone say The Vatican?

I wonder if the residents get two pizzas for the price of one everyday of the week...instead of only Tuesdays like Dominos does now? :)

If so I may consider the move.
