HILLARY SPEAKS AT SADDLEBACK CHURCH

Regular readers of this blog will know I'm not a big fan of Rick Warren. I know he is very popular but I think he is much better at marketing then being a pastor.

I've met Rick in the past and while he is a nice enough guy, I wouldn't trust him to lead a parade much less a church. And gosh darn it he keeps proving me right. Putting the purpose driven products aside, last year Rick jumped in the sandbox with Syria.

Warren told Syria's Islamic grand mufti there could be no peace in the region without Syria and 80 percent of Americans rejecting the U.S. administration's policies and actions in Iraq. Well then.....

But that's old news. Here is the new stuff. Mr. Warren has chosen to use his church as a platform to welcome a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage political campaign speech by Hillary Clinton.

Brace yourself for this from the story: The speech gave Clinton a chance to appear on stage with the popular pastor — who greeted her with a hug — as well as talk at length about her own faith. The centerpiece of a speech laced with Biblical references and reflections on her own faith was a call to spend billions of dollars to combat HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases at home and abroad. I know many are scratching their heads over this guy. He was the golden boy of evangelicals. We are promised that the truth shall be revealed. Maybe now all those who bought into the Purpose Driven Lie will see what Warren's true purpose is. It's not about truth, it's about power and he masks it under the banner of AIDS. I wonder if he rebuked Hillary on any of her beliefs????

Rick needs to appologize for hosting someone who is anti fundemental christain beliefs. His inconsistancy looks like he is all for Rick not Christ. I am embarrassed that I went to his church and praised what he was doing. He is lifted up not Jesus. That is the deception. His church was supposed to be built on faith not political figures that bring you notoriety and we all know power and money.
