Sarah Palin dolls go on sale

The dolls are an attempt to cash in on the popularity of the Alaskan governor, who has impressed since being chosen as John McCain's running mate.

Mrs Palin joins an illustrious list of politicians, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, to have been immortalised as plastic toys.

The executive doll is available for $27.95 from the website HeroBuilders.com. The action hero version costs two dollars more.

The wardrobe is all wrong. Sarah Palin goes for the "naughty librarian" look, not the "hooker wearing Keanu Reeve's coat from The Matrix" look.
