If you think any of these statements were made by Roman Catholics, then your quiz score is “ZERO”!

1)John Calvin - Founder of the Presbyterian Church (1509-1564)

2)John Wesley - Founder of the Methodist Church (1703-1791)

3)Martin Luther - Founder of the Lutheran Church (1483-1546)

4)The Pilgrims - Recorded by William Bradford (1590-1657)

5)Arthur Pink - Calvinist (1886-1952)

If you are shocked, that is not too surprising, because Protestant opposition to birth control has largely been forgotten. Every Protestant sect rejected birth control until 1931. They knew that compromising on contraception logically would mean the acceptance of more deviant sexual practices, the break up the family, and a loss of respect for life. The Anglican Church became the first sect to break rank and accept birth control. Every other Protestant denomination has followed the Anglican example and has slid down the slippery slope of compromise with the world except the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
