Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, was charged with one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of making false statements and two counts of perjury in the CIA leak case.
Libby, a chief architect of the war with Iraq, has resigned as Cheney's chief of staff. A replacement will be named as early as tomorrow, according to Fox News.

Let's see now. Libbey is renowned for his steel trap mind, but couldn't remember the series of discussions or interviews regarding Plame. Cheney is in the middle of every decision made. I think C heney arranged the entire Plame exposure. Liddey is taking the bullit and will receive a Presidential Pardon if any jail time is forthcoming..
Plame wasn't a covert agent. She was a desk jockey at Langly. No crime was committed by her "outing". Even her neighbors knew she worked for the CIA, and she "outed" herself years before on her tax return. She should have been fired for nepotism and for the incompitent job that Wilson did. After all, she recommended him.
