Buffer Zone Battle UPDATE

Dear Friends,

Many thanks to those of you who have joined with us in writing to and calling the members of Pittsburgh City Council. I spoke with one of the members today and they said that they hear you loud and clear. They are reviewing hundreds of e-mails every morning from both sides of the measure. He said that right now the ratio is about 2 to 1 in favor of the legislation, but nearly all of the pro-abortion e-mails are a form letter sent through the Planned Parenthood site. He said that your personal, meaningful and passionate pleas carry a lot of weight, keep it up!

Yesterday, Monday, December 6th we had a great turnout at American Women's Services next to the Hilton Hotel. Pastor Keith Tucci, former Director of Operation Rescue addressed the media regarding the economic impact of the buffer zone legislation on surrounding businesses. We had around 50 saints and five major news outlets, you can read about it below:

This will cost the city alot of money, I read somewhere that another state passed a simulare law, and that it was taken to the SCOUS and was over turned as unconstituional. Also the AFA has said they will fight for our rights. Is the city activly looking for ways to loss even more money?

Let me further clarify this, with this link http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/95-1065.ZS.html what it is that the first part of the law was uppheld (the "fixed buffer zone") the second part is what was struck down ("the flaoting buffer zone")
