CNN DISCUSSES CHRISTIANITY ‘AFTER JESUS’

Just in time for Christmas, CNN Wednesday night presented a major news production entitled “CNN Presents: After Jesus”. Narrated by actor Liam Neeson (of Aslan fame), the program was described as an investigation of “how the earliest Christians spread their message despite infighting over the faith and violent persecution by Rome.” Albert Mohler offers an exhaustive critique of the program noting CNN’s unfortunate use of hyperbole and political correctness in telling the story of Christianity’s early years. In addition, Dr. Mohler faults CNN for their blatant omission of an evangelical Bible scholar on its panel of experts.
