KERRY: WE SHOULD TALK TO SYRIA AND IRAN

Kerry is in the Middle East criticizing the United States. (Reuters)
Speaking of which, Rice rejected the ISG’s call to get help from Iran and Syria. (Washington Post) From Mitt Romney: I have no quarrel with talking, especially if it yields valuable intelligence and insight about an adversary. But that’s a far cry from actually negotiating with Iran, which sponsors Hezbollah, has nuclear ambitions, and has been clear in its intention to wipe our ally Israel off the map. And Syria is systematically undermining the sovereignty of Lebanon and funding and arming terrorists. Any suggestion that we might trade something for their help or forbearance is out of the question. (NRO) Krauthammer explains why the ISG report “has invited ridicule.” (Townhall)

Hm. I wonder what would have happened if a member of the opposition party during WW2 had gone to Germany or Italy and criticized the US in 1942... If they weren't shot there, they most likely would have been shot when they got back for being a traitor! I know that isn't the perfect analogy, but they are along the same lines.

Praise the Lord that Kerry lost in '04!!!
