Why? The fact that the church would be against war and the killing of another human being should come as no surprise. Bush has no say as to what happens to Saddam. Saddam is not a US citzen and Bush is not president of Iraq.
"Bush and Co. were planning an attack on Hussein pre-9/11." There were plans drawn up for an invasion as there are plans to handle ANY threat. I'd wager there are currently and were plans for wars against China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and any other nation that might pose a threat to us.
"They lied to us about the presence of WMDs that they knew weren't really there." So I guess Clinton was lying too, as was all the foreign intelligence.
"they created a campaign to convince the people of the United States that Saddam was behind 9/11" Hm. I must have missed that one. All I remember was hearing about how Iraq was part of the war on terror.
"Look at the polls that ask if people think Hussein was behind 9/11 -- most still do!" Rob, there is a HUGE difference between "link" and "behind 9/11". Quite the misrepresentation of the facts.

Rob: I refer you to the taped conversation played at the UN about modified vehicles. I doubt they were talking about a 65 Ford Mustang.
Look at the photos of the people gasses to death. Tell me that was not done with a weapon of mass destruction. 5000 people died that day.
You can debate that it's not our responsiblity to respond but you can't really debate that Saddam didn't deserve to be removed.
