Pittsburgh radio legend, "The Daddio of the Raddio," Porky Chedwick celebrated his 89th birthday on February 4th. "The Bossman" celebrated his 58th year in radio on August 12th, at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, which honored him in 1996. Porky is recognized as the first radio DJ to feature all oldies and the first caucasian in a major east coast city to feature what would become "rock and roll," beginning in the summer of 1948. Happy Birthday Bossman!
