KDKA, Church Leaders Concur On Story Ethics

KDKA-TV executives met yesterday with religious leaders who wanted an apology for promotions the station aired promising to reveal illicit behavior by a pastor, who then killed himself.

But the clergy ended up apologizing to KDKA for releasing what was intended to be a joint statement before anyone at KDKA had an opportunity to see it, resulting in dueling accounts of the meeting. Read more…
