Marriage Protection Amendment Passed In Judiciary Committee 10-4

The Pennsylvania Marriage Protection Amendment, SB 1250, passed the Senate Judiciary Committee Tues. morning (3-18-08) by a 10-4 vote.

This is the first of many hurdles for the Amendment; next stop is the Senate Appropriations Committee, then the full Senate floor for a vote, and then, should it pass there, the House.
