Next Tuesday, March 18, the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee is to vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) which is Senate Bill 1250. There will also be a public hearing on Monday, March 17th at 10:30 AM. This bill needs to pass in this Committee before it can be voted on by the full Senate.
Last time this was attempted, the State Senate watered down the House version with amendments to permit Civil Unions. The contact list for the PA Senate Judiciary Committee can be found here.
