You scored as Fundamentalist.

You are a fundamentalist. You take the Bible as the foundation of your faith and read it very literally, and it shapes your worldview. Non-fundamentalist Christians have watered-down the Gospel in your view, and academic study of the Bible stops us from 'taking God at his word.' Science is opposed to faith, as it contradicts basic biblical truths.

I think the quiz was a bit unrepresentative, such as "preaching to the lost is more important than worship". They are both equally important.

Good post, Powerball.

And I don't think science is opposed to faith. I just don't think science looks deep enough, and ultimately, science was a huge part in my forsaking atheism and becoming a Christian.

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

I love it that the test HAS to put you in a bucket. I'm not a Methodist, never have been probably never will be. It's prtrayal of my view on personal holiness is accurate.

One thing I did notice and had to answer the nuetral in many cases due to theologically bankrupt and loaded questions.

This one is a prime example:

"God says it. I believe it. That settles it." This is terrible - it suggests that since I beleive it that is what settles it. That's bunk for me, the quote ought to be:

"God says it. That settles it. I believe it."

But I couldn't votre the absolute negative on it, knowing/surmising how I would be scored.

There were others that drew my ire. But in any case thanks for the entertainment.

You are Roman Catholic. Church tradition and ecclesial authority are hugely important, and the most important part of worship for you is mass. As the Mother of God, Mary is important in your theology, and as the communion of saints includes the living and the dead, you can also ask the saints to intercede for you.

Ok since Rob asked, I'll tell you how I scored.

I'm a modern liberal. If you believe that I have oceanfront property in Iowa to sell you.

Here are my results:

I scored as Roman Catholic. I'm shocked!

Interesting result as I'm not a Methodist, and never have been. I think the thing that stinks is parts of some questions I agreed with and disagreed with other parts, so I'm neutral, and I'm not sure that truly reflects how I feel.
