Ah yes, the age old authoritarian cry: *said in 1939 german accent* "If you disagree vit our methods, zen you must haf someting to hide!"
There were quite a few questions in there that were highly inappropriate to ask a first grader, and even a third grader. Little kids aren't emotionally equipped to deal with those kinds of questions. I don't know about you, but when I was in first grade, I had little more than Superman and catching bugs on my mind.
Second, any third year psychology student can tell when a child is being sexually abused without need for such a survey. My dad was a school psychologist, and he told me the signs one looks for. This type of test was unnecessary.
Third, it was done by a grad student, and that grad student CHANGED THE QUESTIONS AFTER THE SCHOOL APPROVED IT!
This test was completely inappropriate!
As a side note, today is election day, and it is the local elections that truly count.
VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!
I believe the student in question should never have his degree conferred.
He is guilty of academic dishonesty and social mischief.
The questions themselves are appropriate for the age group.

Ah yes, a popular inductive fallicy... the Unrepresentative Sample. A few extremists do not represent the whole of the group, as you seem to be trying to paint us. If it was wide spread, by all means, give credible sources.

I agree, you most likely are, given that the only samples you are seeing are generally "emergency situations", if you are a paramedic. People tend to act very differently in emergency situations than in everyday situations.

Awful fond of that Unrepresentative Sample fallicy, aren't we? ;) Considering where our society is headed, I don't doubt it is true with some kids. But that doesn't give government institutions card blanche to inundate every kid in a classroom with this kind of stuff with parents told to sit down and shut up! Many parents want to shield their kids from things they aren't emotionally prepared to deal with as much as possible. Sure, they still get exposed to things, especially by other kids who's parents don't give a care about what their kids are into, but that isn't a valid excuse to take away parents right.
This whole situation makes me sick.
