CONGRESSMAN DINGELL WANTS 50 CENT GAS TAX HIKE

Thank you sir, may I have another? Does Dingle know what it costs people that have to actually pay for their own gas? Rep. John Dingell is from Michigan. How clueless do you have to be to pitch this with straight face in the American Automotive Capitol?

Dingel and the rest of these nimrods need to go in the other direction. If they had any common sense they would be calling for a temporary suspension of all federal and state taxes. In Pennsylvania alone that would mean an instant 51 cent drop in costs per gallon. On average it would save consumers 47 cents a gallon. (Site)

But that would mean money stops rolling into the federal and state coffers. Instead let's raise it 50 cents and get gas well above $4.00 a gallon. The story doesn’t mention what the Democrat’s idea would do to the economy. (FOX News)

Let's hope this idea runs out of gas.

What a 'tard. I have no use for people who just don't understand cause & effect.

Though this would never go through before an election, I fear that his idea of a "carbon tax" is not too far off.

A sad fact indeed, especially because CO2 doesn't cause global warming. It is a product of it, hence the correlation. Of course, I'm sure somewhere, some liberal will introduce the idea of a "sunspot tax" to help stop global warming.
