IMUS SUING CBS

The story notes “Imus had $40 million remaining on a multiyear contact that began in 2006 and included a clause that CBS wanted him to be "irreverent" and "controversial.”

Like I said in earlier posts I know what CBS radio is about. It's like the kid that says "come on do it. I dare you" and the next thing you know he outruns you and your left all alone trying to explain what the heck you were thinking.

This garbage goes on everyday right here in Pittsburgh. I caught part of the John McIntyre show last week that airs on CBS 93.7 here. John was impersonating Simon Cowell in Africa and in a really bad english accent he said. "I'm here with the little negros with flies about their heads. I don't know why the are hungry. Their bellies are huge."

If that was said in New York he would be gone. Maybe Imus should move to Pittsburgh where we still allow that trash on the air.
