Jerry Falwell Dead at Age 73

The Rev. Jerry Falwell was hospitalized in "gravely serious" condition after being found unconscious today in his office at Liberty University, a school executive said.

Ron Godwin, the university's executive vice president, said Falwell, 73, was found unresponsive around 10:45 a.m. and taken to Lynchburg General Hospital. Godwin said he was not sure what caused the collapse, but he said Falwell "has a history of heart challenges."

God be with his family.

Has anyone checked out what the left is saying on their websites? Showing their true colors.

While I didn't agree with Falwell on many things, Jerry Falwell inspired evangelicals to become involved in the world. He caused people to consider important issues.

After he established the Moral Majority he welcomed Roman Catholics into the organization and recognised the power we have when all people of Christian faith work together.

Many of his stances made him a target, but he stood strong on his convictions.

My prayers go out to his family and friends and all who grieve the loss.
