HILLARY WINS BY 10, VOWS TO FIGHT ON

The New York Times reluctantly admits Hillary’s victory “gives her a strong rationale for continuing her candidacy in spite of those Democrats who would prefer to coalesce around Mr. Obama.” (NY Times)

From a political scientist: "This looks like the Democratic Party leaders' worst dream - a Clinton margin not large enough to put her in a strong position to carry on and an Obama vote not large enough to end things.” (Boston Globe)

Another story notes “Gun owners, people who attend church at least weekly, and rural residents were all supporting Clinton by margins of about six in 10.” (ABC News)

From CBS News: Sixty-nine percent of white voters who attend religious services more than once a week supported Clinton, while 31 percent supported Obama. (CBS News)

From the Washington Times: Complicating the issue as Mrs. Clinton started to close in on Mr. Obama's popular vote lead was his inability to win over Pennsylvania's seniors, white males and blue-collar voters. It's a major warning sign that gives Mrs. Clinton wide room to argue that she would be the better Democratic nominee, even though her possible path to winning remains difficult. (Washington Times)
