Being a charter school Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy is supported by tax dollars. Just the name would make me wonder what they are teaching. A substitute teacher claims Islam is the curriculum. The school denied it. Still, there are some things to be concerned about here.
Get this, the school requires all students to learn Arabic as a second language. The school mixes tax dollars with sponsorship by Islamic Relief USA, based in California. Why would Islamic Relief fund a public school?
