Birth Control circa 1957
My thanks to PowerBlog! reader Vincent who sent me this video. It's hosted by Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes fame. It aired in 1957. Margaret Sanger, the leader of the birth control movement in America, talks to Wallace about why she became an advocate for birth control, over-population, the Catholic Church, and morality. In the middle of it all Wallace is smoking and trying to get you to do the same as Phillip Morris sponsored the show.
