And he again cited the reporting of Wright’s sermons as the real problem, claiming they were “a distortion of who he is and what the church has been about.” And then came this: despite the hatred toward the USA, despite the hatred toward whites, despite the anti-Semitic views, Obama insists “That, I think, doesn't detract from the incredible church community that this is.” He called the bitter hatred mere “imperfections.”
