PA Gov. Ed Rendell hit the town (Philly that is) Friday night. His party partner was none other than Chelsea Clinton.
It wasn't your typical campaign stop. Rather it was a Philadelphia gay bar crawl. Yes Rendell and Chelsea were mobbed by local gays and lesbians, as they walked from one club to the next. In all, she visited four bars in Center City, concluding her tour at the city’s most famous gay bar.
MSNBC reported "Rendell appeared to be in his element". Rendell has toured gay bars in Philadelphia since the 1970s, he said, and made a similar trek for John Kerry in 2004.
Well, it nice to know our Governor frequents gay bars for political purposes. There was a time when this would be a scandal.
