GrassrootsPA has learned of a developing story that may come to represent one the most bone-chilling acts of political retribution in memory, a new low even for Harrisburg State Senate standards.
Newly elected Lebanon County District Attorney David Arnold, a close ally of Senator Chip Brightbill, has decided to countermand the decision of the preceding District Attorney, Deirdre Eshelman, to sentence Russell L. Diamond, Sr., the 70-year-old father of PACleanSweep founder and Brightbill nemesis Russ Diamond, to appropriate treatment in a mental health facility followed by 24 months of house arrest.Arnold, in what some close to the situation are speculating is a direct order from Brightbill, has decided to quash negotiations that began with Eshelman and Diamond's attorney and instead press for the aging Diamond, Sr. to be incarcerated for 8-16 years in state prison!
