I've Had It With This State!

I'n ready to storm the captial in Harrisburg! Right after I storm city hall in Pittsburgh. Or maybe the state should be first. I just know I'm MAD and FEED UP! Who's with me??????

I keep up with the news. I have to. The problem these days is the more news I read from this area, the higher my blood pressure goes up. Let's recap shall we.....

The "Parking Lot Union" is on strike. The "Transit Union" is on course to strike. The city of Pittsburgh is broke yet they want to spend $50 MILLION DOLLARS to open a city owned CASINO. Property taxes are out of control. The state is going to rescue the city, schools, taxpayers, sports teams and anyone else who needs a few bucks as soon as we plug in the slot machines. Some are already spending money that does not exsist and now this........

"Pennsylvania's first major gambling-related contract -- worth an estimated $6.3 million a year -- could put a company embroiled in a federal bribery investigation in charge of the computer tracking activity at slots casinos. "

"The state Department of Revenue selected GTECH, a Rhode Island-based company, in March to build what the agency has touted as the world's largest centralized computer system for gambling. Company officials discount the bribery allegations and say the firm will be able to eventually monitor 61,000 slot machines at 14 casinos across the state. "

AHHHHHRUGGGGGGGGG! Please listen to me. If you live in PA make sure you are registered to vote. THEN DO IT! We have got to get these crooks and theives out of our pocket books.

I have nothing against gambling. I know there are problems with it but for the most part I think it can be done in an entertaining and responsible way. The problem right now is we have a bunch of greedy (insert your own words) running things.

Enough is enough. Maybe I'll run for office.

Here is the rest of the story if you can stomach it:
