MAN COMPLAINS ABOUT SEXUAL ADS, GETS THEM PULLED
Sex and the City” signs were plastered on busses in Boston with the words “Sex every night at 11 p.m.” One man started making phone calls, stayed with it, and now they’re getting pulled.
Yes.. It's a shame that these ads just move along with little protest... I, myself need to realize that I have a voice and I can certainly stand against things like this.
It is kind of frightening when you consider that the mainstream marketing shoves the controversial and offensive (although they might just call it clever and cheeky) down our throats until that also becomes mainstream.... so what will gain attention then? Yep.. something MORE controversial and MORE offensive.
I can only imagine what atrocities our adverts incorporate 25-50 years from now! I think I'll rent that rock to live under right about now.
